FUMC WELCOMES NEW LEADER
 
Farmingdale United Methodist Church welcomes the Rev. Catherine E. Schuyler, who succeeds Rev. Dr. Claire Hojung Wu, newly appointed to the UMC North Shore Villages Cooperative Parish.
            Rev. Schuyler, a graduate of Harvard University and Union Theological Seminary, has served at churches on Long island and upstate New York. She and her husband, Richard E. Edwards, a retired UMC pastor, will reside in the FUMC parsonage.
            We wish Rev. Wu all of God’s blessings as she takes on new challenges, and, with Rev. Schuyler joining our family, we look forward to the next chapter at FUMC with joy and love and appreciation of God’s plan.
