    About Us

    The Farmingdale Adult Day Care Center is a non-profit interfaith service that provides support for the elderly. The organization was founded in 1995 and is a cooperative of Farmingdale United Methodist Church, St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, St. Kilian’s Roman Catholic Church and St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

    This is a social day care program offering socialization and stimulation to persons 60 and over who are dealing with physical or cognitive limitations, especially Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia. Activities include arts and crafts, live entertainment, group exercise, pet therapy, blackboard activities and lectures.

    Clients are provided with assistance with everyday functions such as walking and eating and a nutritious hot lunch.
