Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Speed Island, located at 47 Heisser Lane, Farmingdale, NY at 4:30 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025. 
 
Speed Island is a sports performance and recovery center for athletes that also provides special needs adaptive PE. Their Performance Center is a 20,000 square foot professional-grade indoor facility, equipped with turf field, 55-meter track, multi-purpose court, and Olympic weight room designed for athletes to improve their Agility, Speed, Strength, and Conditioning.

Farmingdale Chamber is delighted to welcome Speed Island to the community and we wish Coach Onix Salva great success. We invite Farmingdale’s Elected Officials, Chamber Members, and all interested Farmingdale residents to join us for the celebration.
