Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the grand opening celebration of Papa’s Pizza, located at 199 Merritts Road, Farmingdale, NY at 11:30 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
We asked Orlando Fuentes, the business owner, to tell us a little about Papa’s Pizza: “My name is Orlando Fuentes, proud owner of Papa’s Pizza, the newest pizza shop in Farmingdale. For the past 30+ years, I had the pleasure of working with the great Umberto’s of New Hyde Park in many capacities. Starting as a busboy back in 1992, I quickly worked my way up to becoming a partner of 25 years at their sister location, Angoletto. In those years, I truly learned what it takes to make a great slice of pizza. Food is an art, and it tastes best when passion is behind it. My children also grew up in this industry, each of them played a role in the success of my previous venture. With the support of my wife and kids, we finally decided it was time for us all to build our very own family legacy. Even my granddaughter made her mark on this journey by giving us our name. I am so grateful to finally have the opportunity to welcome you all into our new home. Here at Papa’s, you will get more than just great food, you get that family atmosphere and no judgment on how you prefer your pizza…..we are talking to you pineapple lovers. We hope to see you soon!”
