"Come and enjoy the Annual Fire Department Fair this weekend, says Mayor Ralph Ekstrand. "The Fair has something for everyone: Carnival Rides, Games, Food, Fire Department BBQ, Street Vendors, Local Artisans, Music, Entertainment - and of course the Parade and Fireworks Display; plus specials throughout the weekend from downtown merchants and restaurants", he added.
The Farmingdale Fire Department is always running specials & fundraisers along with the Fair to help local charities and organizations. Enjoy this great annual community fair this Columbus Day Weekend with many old and new friends.
The Carnival will be held just south of Conklin Street, behind the Fire Department / Village Hall, adjacent to the Village Green. On Saturday and Sunday, two blocks of Main Street (north and south of Conklin Street) will close during the day for the street fair (
8am - 6pm). Main Street will remain closed for the Parade
on Sunday evening from Northside School to Prospect Street until about
8pm. There is Free Parking, Free Admission, Rides, Games, Shopping, Dancing, Music, Food and much to explore in the Village of Farmingdale.

The Carnival is located in behind the Fire House ~ The Street Fair & Parade will be held on Main Street
Musical performances will be on the Band Stand in the rear of the Firehouse.
Additional parking available at the LIRR station after 4pm weekdays and on Saturday & Sunday, along surrounding streets, at Weldon E. Howitt Middle School (Cherry Street Parking Lot), and in New Parking Lots - next to Chichimecca's (north of LIRR Track on Main Street) and another lot (2 blocks from Main Street at Jackson Avenue, N. Front Street and Melville Road, near Croxley's). Please be courteous to our neighbors - if you park in a private lot, you risk getting towed (7-11, CVS, etc.)
