Farmingdale Community Summit 9-11 Ceremony – 20th Anniversary

As the 20th anniversary of September 11 approaches, our thoughts are once again with all those who lost loved ones on that tragic morning. We remember the names, faces, and lives of the men, women, and children who were killed, and look for ways to ensure that each and every one of them is not forgotten. As we commemorate, the Farmingdale Community Summit invites you to join us in remembering September 11 and all that this day means.

Farmingdale Remembers

Farmingdale Public Library, 116 Merritts Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735

Farmingdale Remembers is the community's annual observance commemorating the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Please plan to gather at 6PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM. The library entrance will be closed at 6:15 PM until the end of the program at approximately 7:30 PM.

The Farmingdale Community Summit Council encourages all residents of the community to participate in the brief ceremony to honor and remember those who perished and those we lost from exposure to health hazards at Ground Zero, to pay tribute to those who served so unselfishly in the recovery operation, and to show our continued support for all those who were affected by the events of 9/11/01.
