    Farmingdale Meat Market has been family owned and operated for three generations since 1946. Founded by Julius Seelig, the company is now run by Kent and Lee Seelig (son and grandson of Julius). Julius would be proud to know that Farmingdale Meat Market is still thriving and has since expanded into wholesale (for 30+ years now) with Main Street Wholesale Meats.

    Our retail store is located the same place it has been for 75+ years: 210 Main Street, Farmingdale, NY 11735. In our store you will find a full selection of beef, pork, veal, lamb, poultry, provisions, groceries and more. Our long-time customers know that even if you can't find an item in the display case it probably can be found "in the back".

    We have our own ground beef and hamburgers which are made fresh daily! You have to try our famous 1946 Blend ground beef. The 1946 Blend is our proprietary premium ground beef which is made with a mixture of Wagyu Brisket, Prime Aged Rib Cap, Boneless Short Ribs and Angus Chuck.

    We also have our own custom dry-aging coolers where we dry age beef for many of the top restaurants, hotels and country clubs in the Tri-State area. Yes...the same dry-aged beef that we sell wholesale is also available for retail sale. Our dry-aged beef makes an amazing gift for your favorite meat eater.
