Cathie Geraghty-Doyle, MPH, LNHA

Everyone wants to meet the newest addition to the Daleview Care Center team and the strength that is driving Daleview forward in providing Quality Care for residents giving their families piece of mind.

Who is Cathie Geraghty-Doyle you ask? We decided to give you a very special and personal look at Ms. Doyle.
Cathie comes to us with over 30 years’ experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. She has been the recipient of the annual ACHCA Eli Pick Award for Administrative Excellence for 27 years. In 2000, she was named ACHCA’s New Administrator of the year.
She graduated with her BA in Communications from SUNY Cortland and then earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration specializing in Health Care from Long Island University finishing with a perfect 4.0 GPA. As a long-standing member of numerous associations, Cathie has served on numerous committees over the years including Legislative, Regulatory and Scholarship committees.

Her many years of experience have resulted in consistently obtaining and maintaining 99% resident satisfaction, and 96% overall family satisfaction ratings.

With dozens of perfect NYS Department of Health inspections, CMS 5 star ratted facilities and several Joint Commission Accreditations for Sub Acute and Long-Term care, we asked Cathie for her secret to success.  “My mom was an extraordinary Administrator before me and she taught me early on that when you take care of the residents and staff properly, everything else will fall into place. I try to always treat the residents and family members like they are my family. I specialize in team building and I insist on cooperation and collaboration across all departments. This “one for all” approach results in improved clinical outcomes and quality of life for the residents and improved communication with families. When you are able to improve outcomes, community relations, staff/management relations, it results in less staff turnover which keeps the same staff with the residents they love.” She paused and reflected before continuing, “When I arrived at Daleview, I could immediately see the great foundation laid by owners who truly care about the residents and the staff, my job—quite simply— is to build on that foundation by teaching staff what is expected of them and then holding them accountable to give their best everyday”.
