Cupid Approved DIY Massage Oil Bar — Fun to Make!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, what better a time to use the power of aromatherapy?! Today we’re discussing how to make a super easy DIY Massage Oil Bar. They only require a few ingredients, and boom, a gift that is perfect to give to loved ones is made.

So, if you’re in a rush, or unable to think of a unique gift, steal this idea! We promise it has cupid’s mark of approval, and anyone who gets it will love it.

Plus, this massage oil bar is all-natural, so there aren’t any artificial scents, or funky stuff involved. Strictly homemade and beneficial; the two things we always have on the top of our checklist.

Ready to dive in and make these love day treats? Let’s go.

First things first, you’ll want to gather all your materials.

Luckily, for this DIY project there aren’t that many! All you’ll need is 2-3 essential oils that you feel blend well together (we provide the ones we chose below). A natural emollient that’s solid at room temperature, like Shea Butter (you can use Coconut Oil, too). A mold. And, a refrigerator. Pretty simple, right?

Now for the fun part…all the steps!

First, you’ll want to melt 1 Cup Shea Body Butter in a double boiler over med-high heat on your stove.

Then, take it off the heat, mix in 3 drops of each essential oil into the liquid Shea Butter. We used Lavender Essential Oil and Orange Essential Oil

Once done, transfer this yummy smelling liquid concoction into a mold of choice.

Place in the freezer to cool, and solidify for 50-60 minutes.

    Remove and package nicely!

See…less than an hour and you have DIY massage oil bars that are great smelling.
