Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Starkie Bros Garden Center\, located at 721 Main Street\, Farmingdale\, NY at 11am on Friday\, April 5\, 2024.

\nStarkie Bros Garden Center is a full-service Garden Center offering a wide range of products for all your indoor/outdoor gardening needs.

\nAs kids Butch and his brother\, \;John Starkie\, started cutting lawns and did odd jobs. Although George "\;Butch"\; and John separated their business interest years ago\, Starkie Bros lives on! Two of Butch'\;s 4 children are taking over the day to day operations. George "\;Hank"\; Starkie and Nick Starkie are both graduates of Farmingdale State College with degrees in Horticulture. Together\, with the help of their father and dedicated staff\, they offer planting services as well as a one-stop-shop garden center.
