This step-by-step presentation provided by the Long Island Chrysanthemum Society will demonstrate how to grow the "Queen of the Fall" starting with cuttings that grow into a surprising variety of blooms up to 15 inches across. \n\nRita Rover earned a bachelors and masters degrees in botany from Columbia University and has taught in the departments of biology and horticulture at SUNY Farmingdale. Rita has been growing award winning chrysanthemums for over 30 years\, is a member of the Long Island Chrysanthemum Society\, and is an accredited judge for the National Chrysanthemum Society.\n\n \n\nThe presentation is free to attend and rooted cuttings will be distributed to attendees.
