April Lynne Earle will share her best tips for staying organized and searching databases such as Ancestry.com and FamilySearch.org. In addition to dismissing some of the most commonly held myths about genealogy research\, we will look at the significance of census records\, the importance of seeing the actual document\, and uncover the secrets in plain sight on passenger lists.\n\n \n\nApril Lynne Earle is a member of the Library Faculty at Farmingdale State College\, and teaches a Library Science course on Genealogical Sources & Services at St. John's University. With over 30 years of personal genealogy research experience\, her real joy is helping others discover their family history.
