DESCRIPTION:The Farmingdale United Methodist Church  will distribute ashes on Wednesday\, March 6\, 2019\, at 12:00 noon\, to mark the beginning of Lent\, a time when many Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting\, repentance\, abstinence and spiritual discipline.\n\n            Holy Communion will be offered at 7:30pm service on Maundy Thursday\, \n\nApril 18\, 2019.  Services will be held on Good Friday\, April 19\, 2019  at 7:30pm.   A sunrise service will be held on Easter Sunday\, April 21\, 2019\, at 6:00am at Tanner Park in Copiague\, and in the church at 9:30am.\n\n            Thereafter regular worship services will resume on Sundays at 9:30am.
