DESCRIPTION:7th Annual Long Island Gingerbread and Chocolate House Competition is set for Saturday\, December 14th at the Chocolate Duck\, 310 Main St\, Farmingdale. This year's theme for entries is "Victorian" houses\, however the entries can be other structures / any Long Island inspired Gingerbread or Chocolate house original creation.  \n\n \n\nThe Chocolate Duck\, located in Farmingdale Village\, is hosting the competition which includes both Gingerbread and Chocolate houses\, Adult and Youth Divisions\, as well as Amateur and Open Divisions.  Prizes will be awarded in each division including cash and gift certificates and the entry deadline is December 12th.  The competition opens to the public at noon\, stop in & Vote for People's Choice! For additional information / entry forms\, contact: Christina Bisbee\, cakegirl70@aol.com\, 516-249-0887.  Long Island Cares will have a collection at the event\, helping to fight hunger in our community\, please bring a non-perishable food donation\, a check or gift cards to donate.
