Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate Uncle Tony’s Pizzeria & Ristorante
Farmingdale, NY - Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the grand opening of
Uncle Tony’s Pizzeria and Ristorante, located at 302 Main Street, Farmingdale, at 2:30 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017.
In addition to the grand opening, Uncle Tony's will honor local police, firefighters, emergency medical service and first responders. There will be free food samplings, beer and wine for all the local heroes. For the rest of the crowd there will be raffles and prizes along with food and drink specials. There will also be live entertainment and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:30 pm.
The restaurant and pizzeria is the newest addition to Farmingdale’s growing restaurant row on Main Street. After a major remodeling, Uncle Tony’s has opened in the former site of Cascarino’s. Uncle Tony's has ample parking in the rear and an outdoor patio.
Uncle Tony’s offers traditional Italian-American specialties as well as pizzas. The restaurant has “Sunday Sauce” pots to go, serving three to five people. The pots feature meatballs and sausages, vodka sauce with chicken on penne, and rigatoni with ragu. The menu, available family-style and in individual servings, includes dishes such as baked clams, fried calamari, eggplant rollatini, ravioli, linguine with seafood, pork chops with vinegar peppers, veal Marsala and Milanese, and assorted Parmigianas.
Pizzas include Sicilian, Margherita, marinara and specialty pies such as clam, white, gluten-free and the “famous Grandma.”
Uncle Tony’s is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday to Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
We invite Farmingdale’s Elected Officials, Chamber Members, and all interested Farmingdale residents to join us in the celebration.
