DESCRIPTION:Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Farmingdale Meat Market\, located at 210 Main Street\, Farmingdale\, on Wednesday\, May 12 at 12 noon.\n\n \n\nFarmingdale Meat Market began as a local Farmingdale butcher shop in 1946. Founded by Julius Seelig\, the business has been family owned and operated for three generations. The company is now run by his son\, Kent\, and grandson\, Lee Seelig. \n\n \n\nOver the past 75 years Farmingdale Meat Market has grown from small retail meat market into Main Street Wholesale Meats\, one of the largest\, independently-owned\, federally inspected meat facilities. In recent years they have also expanded into e-commerce and that has really taken off during the pandemic doing home-delivery of meat all over the Tri-State area.\n\n \n\nFarmingdale Chamber of Commerce is honored to celebrate this incredible milestone with Farmingdale Meat Market and we congratulate the Seelig Family on their great success.
